Skylight Ski Lodge was built in 1950 and was run as an Inn from 1952-2002. In its heyday, Ski Magazine, February 1977 Issue, said: "most of the serious skiers who frequent the Skylight Lodge wouldn't think of staying anywhere else." It was purchased in 2004 and totally renovated with every amenity you could wish for, done in excellent taste. Two great rooms with massive native stone, wood-burning fireplaces. Maple trees on the property were milled and used for trim and maple floors throughout the home. A large kitchen and dining room capable of entertaining 25. Seven bedrooms, two master suites, and numerous configurations. A truly unique ski house and vacation rental.
Completely renovated lodge just finished in February 2015. Not your usual rental. The exterior was re-sided and painted in October 2014. Two Master bedroom suites on third floor. 12 minutes to Bromley. 25 minutes to Stratton. Hike to Spruce Peak from the Lodge. Close to many other hiking trails. 5 minutes to Manchester Outlet Center. J.Crew, Kate Spade, Ralph Lauren and many others. Amazing restaurants and stores literally down the road. Perfectly located to all. Owner is thrilled to tell you about all there is to do in the area in every season. And there is a lot.
